What is vermicomposting?

Vermicomposting uses red wiggler worms and beneficial microorganisms to break down organic waste into a nutrient-rich, microbe-packed soil amendment called vermicast (worm castings). Common inputs include food scraps, coffee grounds, paper products, cardboard, and garden clippings.

What is vermicast?

Vermicast, or worm castings, is the natural byproduct of worms digesting organic material. It’s rich in nutrients, microbes, and organic matter, making it a powerful fertilizer for plants.

What is vermicast tea?

Vermicast tea is a liquid fertilizer made by steeping worm castings in oxygenated water with natural additives like kelp meal, azymite, and fish emollients. It delivers nutrients quickly to plants and replenishes soil microbial life.
